Graphics card pricing has been a never-ending rollercoaster over the years, and despite stock levels beginning to stabilize, we continue to see price spikes to this day. Fortunately, opportunity for bargains is possible throughout the year, and that’s exactly what we’re looking at with DELL’s latest offer.
As we roll into summer, hot deals spring up left, right, and center. For instance, this new Nvidia RTX 4080 Super deal is pretty eye-catching and worth paying attention to. Why? Well, the RTX 4080 Super has now dipped below $999.99 for the first time since its release in January. Currently available for $949, Nvidia has taken $50 off its initial MSRP which is sure to cause many GPU enthusiasts to do a double-take.
While initial reviews for the RTX 4080 Super were lukewarm in terms of its place within the Nvidia Super family, it did offer improved specifications, features, and a lower price over its non-Super counterpart. In our own review of the RTX 4080 Super, we found it to be a suitable upgrade from the RTX 4080 in terms of performance and 4K gaming, albeit with some availability issues. Despite a mixed critical consensus, the RTX 4080 Super sold out across all major markets just days after its launch. This fan frenzy caused availability to plummet and prices to jump from around $1000 to roughly $1300.
RTX 4080 SUPER falls below MSRP at DELL store
The RTX 4080 Super is now following in the footsteps of the RTX 4070 Ti Super and RTX 4070 Super, two Super GPUs that have not only seen similar price drops below their MSRP but have seen sales spikes in major retailers since launch. The PNY GeForce RTX 4080 Super OC Edition is now available in the Dell Store for $949.99, a saving of $450 from their initial selling point of $1399.99. However, this deal does not apply everywhere. The price for this model remains at $999.99 on Amazon and Newegg for the time being.
RTX 4080 SUPER price on Amazon remains high
Most of the options available on Amazon for the RTX 4080 Super do not feature the same level of discount as the PNY RTX 4080 Super does at the Dell Store. For example, on Amazon, the RTX 4080 Super is currently $979.99. While this may be below the MSRP overall, it is a considerable distance from the $949.99 deal found at Dell. Outside of PNY, manufacturers such as MSI and ASUS have options available for prices above $1000, demonstrating the impressive nature of the current deal.
