Awen is creating VR experiences for mental health improvement and is utilizing QuestionPro for user feedback

Background

AWEN uses the immersive power of Virtual Reality and the scientifically proven benefit of feeling awe, to create radical digital experiences that empower all young people to overcome anxiety and stress by achieving calm and confidence.

Company Overview

Founded in 2022 by Valeria Leonardi and Sean Rogg, Awen's mission is to improve mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people. With the founder's 10+ years of experience working with VR technology and immersive experiences, their commitment to research and test of new methodologies of VR interventions to create a final user experience that transforms human emotions and improve mental health is unparalleled.

Goal

The goal of the project was to provide Awen with a cost-effective and efficient platform to collect and manage data for research purposes and collect user feedback with ease. As a recently founded startup, the financial possibilities were limited, but Awen was determined to leverage the power of technology to make a meaningful impact on the mental health and emotional well-being of young people.

Challenge & Solution

The project's journey began with Awen's search for a survey platform that could facilitate feedback collection during their initial pilot trials. While exploring various survey solutions, Awen discovered that QuestionPro's slider question type and the opportunity to participate in the QuestionPro for Startups program were the ideal combination. This partnership not only provided Awen with the tools they needed for survey design and creation but also granted them access to QuestionPro Research Edition at no cost.
